Jordan Heading will be making his PBA appearance... as part of the Converge FiberXers.
The sharpshooter was traded by the Terrafirma Dyip to Converge for Aljun Melecio, Keith Zaldivar, and the FiberXers' 51st Season first round draft pick, the league announced.
Terrafirma had the rights to Heading, having drafted him in the Season 46 special Gilas Pilipinas draft.
But the former Alab Pilipinas player was not able to play for Terrafirma due to his Gilas stints, as well as heading to the Taichung Wagor Suns in the T1 League in Taiwan, the Nagasaki Velca in the Japan B.League, and the West Adelaide Bearcats in Autstralia's NBL1. He also played for the Strong Group Athletics.
Converge finished third in Group A of the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup but was eliminated by the San Miguel Beermen, 2-3, in the quarterfinals. Terrafirma failed to reach the playoffs.
