Meralco thwarted Terrafirma, 96-91, to regain a share of the early lead in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Malate on Friday, Dec. 6.

The Bolts jumped to 3-0 in the standings in a tie with NorthPort in the mid-season conference while adding to the woes of the beleaguered Dyip.

DJ Kennedy, who replaced injured Akil Mitchell, delivered as expected, coming through with 32 points and six rebounds.

Even after switching imports from Ryan Richards to Brandon Edwards, Terrafirma dropped to its fourth consecutive loss.

The Bolts look to extend their winning streak to four as it faces Blackwater on Dec. 12 at the same venue.

Game kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
