Newly-minted UAAP champion Quentin Millora-Brown was among the spectators as June Mar Fajardo's San Miguel took on Eastern in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
Quentin Millora-Brown could not help but feel in awe watching eight-time PBA Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo in action.
The newly-minted UAAP champion with University of the Philippines already saw the 6-foot-10 Fajardo up close on Sunday, Dec. 22, when he sat behind the bench of San Miguel in its 91-99 loss to Eastern in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup.
Fajardo imposed his might and size as usual, putting up 23 points, 18 rebounds, five assists and two blocks at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

His efforts proved futile, though, as the guest team went on to claim its sixth win against two losses in the mid-season tournament.
The Beermen dropped to 3-3.
Still, QMB, who is also listed 6-foot-10, had nothing but praises for the unassuming superstar from Pinamungahan, Cebu.
“What a guy! He’s really tough to guard. You can tell how hard other teams have to work to guard him,” Millora-Brown said after the match.

Perhaps fans will see a QMB-Kraken matchup in the PBA next season?
When asked what his immediate basketball plans are after leading the Fighting Maroons to their second championship in four years, Millora-Brown is yet to confirm if he will apply for the next draft.
“We’ll see, we’ll see,” he said.
“Obviously, it’s still in September. But when that time comes around, I’ll look at all the options.”
