Quentin Millora-Brown has been around just a week after winning the championship in UAAP Season 87 during his only year with the UP Fighting Maroons, being spotted at a PBA game on Sunday night.

Millora-Brown, who was pivotal in UP’s return to the mountaintop in the UAAP, watched the showdown between the San Miguel Beermen and Eastern in the ongoing PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Seeing the action between June Mar Fajardo and the rest of the Beermen, as they battled Eastern into an overtime game, was something to behold for the 24-year-old.

“It was exciting. This was a good one to watch. You know, overtime game, close game, it was good,” he said.

While Millora-Brown had a good look at the flagship Beermen, he also has affinity in San Miguel's sister team in Brgy. Ginebra.

“Oh man, I mean, looking at the two bigs, they have so much talent and experience, just the craftiness to their game. Obviously, the physicality, the speed.” he said, alluding to Fajardo and Ginebra’s Justin Brownlee.

“So, I mean, it’s really fun to watch. You know, I just love basketball,” QMB added.

On favorites, though, he said that it was a hard pick, while also considering that he has only seen a handful of games. But as a lover of the sport, Millora-Brown commended the Gin Kings for their play as well.

“That’s hard, [picking a favorite team]. I mean, obviously, I have the connection to San Miguel but watching Ginebra too, the way that they play together is so fun,” he said.

Millora-Brown continued to be coy on whether or not he would be declaring for the PBA draft next year, citing that he still had to go through discussions with his agent.

But something that he hopes to accomplish is playing for the national team, which he said his agent has been working on in recent weeks.

“Hopefully, hopefully. I’m just in talks with my agents and everyone [about Gilas]. We’ll see what happens,” he said.

The Fil-Am big man is eligible to play for the national team as a local, owing to his Philippine passport which he was able to acquire before turning 16 years old.

In the meantime, though, Millora-Brown is expected to have a couple of weeks rest during the Holidays after a grueling UAAP season.
