Prolific imports who can effect change in more ways than one are never in short supply in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup.

There’s two-time Best Import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who has proven time and again he is almost unstoppable on both ends of the floor. There’s also Mike Watkins, a beast inside the paint for NLEX who is averaging 20-20.

The list goes on.

George King is best scorer

Everyone anticipated this, especially from someone who exploded for 64 points in the Governors’ Cup.

After six games, King normed 37.17 points in the mid-season tournament, but his explosive performances has not translated to wins just yet.

Mike Watkins is top rebounder

Mike Watkins knows he is big, and he uses that to his advantage whenever he is on the court.

Watkins’ heft and strength have allowed him to grab a total of 141 rebounds (23.5 per game) in six games for NLEX.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is top assist maker

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson can do many things, among them is setting up his teammates. That skill makes him more dangerous on the court.

That is why it is no longer surprising to see him on this list dominated by playmakers as he has averaged 4.75 assists per outing in four games.

Deon Thompson is leader in steals among imports

Deon Thompson has shown there’s more to him than just scoring and rebounding.

The Rain or Shine reinforcement was a threat as a defensive player too, picking up 10 steals (2.43) in four games so far with the streaking Elasto Painters.

Mike Watkins is top shot blocker

Watkins’ size is not only the reason he has been an imposing presence inside the paint.

It is also next to impossible to drive against the hulking NLEX reinforcement since he had the athleticism and timing to swat away shots from whatever angle.

He is averaging 2.83 blocks in six games for the Road Warriors.
