Rondae Hollis-Jefferson made up for a poor offensive showing the last time out, hitting his mark this time to fuel TNT's 93-91 victory over Rain or Shine in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup semifinals at the Philsports Arena in Pasig Friday, Feb. 28.
Hollis-Jefferson churned out 30 points and 10 rebounds before exiting on his sixth foul with 5:26 left to play in the match.
The Elasto Painters capitalized on his absence at that point, rallying behind Deon Thompson, Adrian Nocum and Gian Mamuyac.
But Rain or Shine fumbled its opportunities in the final two minutes to fall short in its fightback.
