This as the TNT resident reinforcement received the recognition for the third time minutes before Game 4 of the Finals Friday, March 21.

He beat NorthPort's Kadeem Jack, Rain or Shine's Deon Thompson and Ginebra's beloved Justin Brownlee for the coveted plum.

At the end of the semifinals, Hollis-Jefferson averaged 28.2 points, 12.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.9 steals and a league-best 1.8 blocks.
He steered the team to No. 2 in the elimination round, before helping TNT overcome Rain or Shine in the penultimate stage.
