The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers are ready to put the previous season behind them.
Roster moves have been the main headline during this PVL offseason.
Almost every team, except the Creamline Cool Smashers, had a major roster or coaching change.
With PVL teams becoming more and more loaded, F2’s Aby Maraño said that this upcoming PVL season will be unpredictable which in turn motivates her to do better.
"May mga teams rin na nag-revamp, so nakaka-excite din kung anong klase ng tono ng teams. We don't know kung anong teams 'yung magdo-dominate,” said Maraño.
"Parang to me, lahat ng teams may potential to get into the top. Talagang na-excite lang talaga ako, nae-excite ako sobra-sobra kaya good 'yun for me kasi nakakadagdag sa motivation ko.”
The F2 Logistics likewise made big moves this offseason, bringing in Petro Gazz’s star Myla Pablo, NU’s Chinnie Pia-Arroyo, and renowned coach Regine Diego.
For Tyang Aby, having the reigning Best Outside Hitter in Pablo in the squad will be such a big boost to the team given her offensive prowess and championship experience.
“Malaking tulong talaga si Myla kasi sa open side or sa outside hitters kulang kami ng tao dun,” said Maraño. “She's [not] the first outside hitter for nothing, so malaking-malaking bagay yun sa amin.”
F2 is looking to bounce back after a disappointing 2022 PVL season. And with the new season right around the corner, the Cargo Movers will be looking for revenge.
“What's important for me is now. So, we don't have to dwell on the past. We fell short, yes, but right now, lahat ng mga natutunan namin from the past dadalhin namin ngayon para hindi na namin siya maulit,” said Maraño.
