The Red President got a much-needed boost.
Blackwater Red President has netted a big fish in Ricci Rivero.
Rivero on Wednesday agreed to a deal to play for the Red Bossing for the rest of Leg 6 of the PBA 3x3 tournament.
Blackwater team manager Johnson Martinez confirmed in a text message to OneSports.ph the signing of the cager, who was released by Taiwan team Taoyuan Pilots last year due to an injury.
This isn’t the first time Rivero will play in this setup, though. He represented the country several times in the 3x3 including the FIBA U23 World Cup in China in 2018.
The former University of the Philippines winger will team up with brother Prince as the Red President try to crack the final 8 in the ongoing Leg 6 of the tournament
They are currently at 10th spot.
