Can Sisi Rondina become the Cherry bomb for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans?

The Philippine Queen of Sands has been asking herself that question as she looked back on her highlights to review and refresh her memory. Rondina will be making her PVL debut with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, four years after she last played indoor volleyball.

"Nung nanonood ako ng laro ko, 'Day, kaya ko pa kaya 'to? 'Yung laro ko?'" Rondina recounted her conversation with long-time beach volleyball partner Bernadeth Pons on One Sports' The Game.

The 2019 PSL Invitational Cup Best Scorer and Best Outside Spiker though, who last played indoor volleyball with the Petron Blaze Spikers, admitted there's been a lot of developments with the game.

"Ang daming nagbago, from movement, sa spiking, sa defense. Mahihirapan kami ibalik," she admitted. "Siguro 'yung control."

"Pero kung gaano kami ka-explosive dati, siguro natanggalan yata siguro ng kalahati," Rondina said. "Pero we're hoping and we're trying na maibalik yun."

Rondina will be playing in a crowded but familiar field in the PVL Invitational Conference, as her partner Pons is suiting up for sister team Creamline Cool Smashers.

Rondina's Southeast Asian Games and FIVB World Beach Pro Tour Futures partner, Jovelyn Gonzaga, will be competing for the Cignal HD Spikers.
