In just two weeks, the PVL Invitational Conference champions will be crowned.
The fast-moving tournament will shift to the semifinals tomorrow with the PLDT High Speed Hitters and the Cignal HD Spikers taking on each other at 4 p.m. Both teams have one loss apiece from their elimination round games.
Meanwhile, the headliner will feature the defending champions Creamline Cool Smashers and the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers. Creamline has yet to lose in the PVL Invitational, dropping only one set in four matches. The Cargo Movers will enter the semis with a 4-1 record.
The guest teams Kurashiki Ablaze from Japan and Vietnam's Kin Bac Bac Ninh will debut in the PVL against each other on Saturday.
Squads in the semifinals will play one match against each other in a round-robin format. The top two teams will advance to the do-or-die championship game, and the third and fourth best groups after the semis round-robin will play in the battle for third place on July 30.
All matches will be played at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
