The PVL Second All-Filipino Conference will not just be living up to the hype of another all-local tournament, volleyball fans all over the Philippines will also have the chance to see their favorite stars in the flesh.

The PVL will be visiting six provinces, as the 12 squads compete in the single round-robin preliminaries from October 15 to December 5

Aside from the regular venues such as the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan, and the PhilSports Arena in Pasig, the country's top volleybelles will also be competing in Batangas, Rizal, Ilocos Sur, Laguna, Cagayan de Oro, and Iloilo.

On October 21, the Petro Gazz Angels will take on the Gerflor Defenders, while the Creamline Cool Smashers face the Cignal HD Spikers in Batangas City.

Two match days will be held at the Ynares Center in Antipolo. First, the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers will play against rookie team Nxled Chameleons on October 24. So will the Farm Fresh Foxies and the PLDT High Speed Hitters, along with the Akari Chargers and the Chery Tiggo Crossovers. On October 26, it will be Gerflor's turn to take on Creamline. Also featured will be the matchups of Akari versus Farm Fresh and Cignal versus the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.

On October 28, the PVL will fly to Candon, Ilocos Sur. There, fans will get a treat with Gerflor versus F2 Logistics and Nxled versus Petro Gazz.

Laguna fans will get their own on November 2 with a triple-header at the Santa Rosa Sports Complex: PLDT against Nxled, Choco Mucho against Galeries Towers Highrisers, and Cignal against Akari.

On November 18, the PVL goes to Mindanao as Gerflor takes on Akari and PLDT battles Creamline in Cagayan de Oro.

Finally, on December 2, Iloilo fans can get up close and personal with their PVL idols as Nxled plays against Farm Fresh and Chery Tiggo takes on Choco Mucho.

The matches will be much faster too, as newly minted competition director Sherwin Malonzo has reduced the technical timeouts per set from two to just one. It will be held after the leading team gets to the 13th point.

Previously, there were two technical timeouts done during the eighth and the 16th points.

There will also just be one regular timeout per frame.

To compensate, coaches will now have a chance to speak with players during video challenges and when teams change courts—which will only be done after the third set.

The PVL Second All-Filipino Conference will start this Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

It will be aired live starting at 3 p.m. on One Sports, One Sports+, and the Pilipinas Live app.
