The PVL is set to kick off another exciting and action-packed conference on Sunday, October 15.
Fans will be treated to the league’s much-awaited return with a triple-header that features new teams, fresh faces, and marquee matchups.
Gerflor Defenders vs Nxled Chameleons
Kicking the new conference will be a match between newcomers the Gerflor Defenders and the Nxled Chameleons.
The Defenders have yet to grab their first win since joining the league last conference. But this new conference might just be what they need to break out in the PVL.
The Chameleons, meanwhile, will be making their PVL debut which has excited many fans as the team will be led by chief tactician Taka Minowa.
One thing’s for sure—one team will grab their first win in the PVL.
Cignal HD Spikers vs PLDT High Speed Hitters
A battle of sister teams.
The HD Spikers and the High Speed Hitters have been looking more and more like title contenders over the past conferences.
This offseason, PLDT was able to acquire an NCAA Division 1 talent in Savannah Davison. Meanwhile, Cignal, coming off a bronze-medal finish in the Invitational Conference, will be keeping its core intact while also allowing some of its players to step up for the team.
This is definitely a must-watch game for PVL fans as this could set the tone on who will be the early favorites to bring home the All-Filipino crown.
