Losing has a price—literally.
Athletes cope with losses in different ways. Some want to be left alone, while others can’t wait to go back to work. And of course, some engage in activities designed to clear the mind. It could come in the form of meditation, playing video games, or reading a book. To each his or her own. There’s no absolute correct formula.
Well, after you see Fifi Sharma’s Instagram Stories on Tuesday night, you could say that she has found the absolute correct formula.
Caveat: What you're about to read is just a tasty theory.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Akari Chargers lost to the Nxled Chameleons in an emotionally charged game. Sharma chipped in seven points.
A couple of hours later, to possibly soothe the pain of losing, the 5-foot-11 middle blocker underwent what she called “dinner therapy." The session took place in a well-known, fancy steakhouse (something Chery Tiggo Crossovers star Jen Nierva is pretty familiar with). She was with her dad, former PBA player Carlo Sharma.
You might ask: What’s the big deal? Well, shelling out 10,000 bucks is a normal thing in that place. Nonetheless, it looks like it worked for Fifi, who was all smiles with her "dinner therapy"—especially with that plate of scrumptious-looking prawns.
Judging by her joy, the 22-year-old Sharma appears to be all charged up, ready to show out on Saturday as the Chargers aim to bounce back against the embattled Gerflor Defenders in Cagayan de Oro.
Just in case, is there a steakhouse there?
