It mirrored everyone's difficulty.
Chery Tiggo Crossovers setter Jasmine Nabor shared a very, very important ritual a few minutes before their match against the Cignal HD Spikers on Tuesday.
It seemed to work, as the Crossovers extended their winning streak to five games by beating the erstwhile streaking HD Spikers in five thrilling sets.
Unbeknownst (big word!) to many, Nabor and company partake in a deeply sacred tradition before each game. She showed the Crossovers crowded in front of a bathroom mirror as they focused on putting their hair in place.
"Magsasalamin sana ako, 'wag na lang pala," she captioned it in jest.
Lucky for Jas, she has short hair!
Many fans probably don't realize how important it is for PVL players to make sure that their hair doesn't impede their vision.
Nabor managed to do just fine without the mirror check. She tallied 21 excellent sets, helping out Eya Laure, Cess Robles, Cza Carandang, and Mylene Paat, who all tallied double-digit scores against Cignal.
The five-set victory gave Chery Tiggo the third spot in the standings as teams race to the top four.
The Crossovers will next take on the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers on Saturday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
Maybe Nabor will bring her own mirror this time.
