This time around, the Chery Tiggo Crossovers got it done in the crucial stretches courtesy of Cess Robles and Shaya Adorador.

Both Robles and Adorado took turns in delivering the killer blows that spelled Chery Tiggo`s much-needed win at expense of the Nxled Chameleons, taking a big step towards their playoff dreams in 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

The Crossovers are coming off a qualifying loss to the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in a tight game where they lost just a combined eight points throughout the three steps.

“Yung last game na nangyari, maganda naman ‘yung pinakita sabi namin di lang kami nakatapos ng maganda dahil wala kaming panapos sa latter part,” Adorado, who earned the Player of the Game Honors with 14 points, said in the post-game press conference.

And entering their first assignment in the play-in tournament, Chery Tiggo are in need of end-game closers.

Fortunately, Robles and Adorador responded .

The Robles closed out the opening set with a personal 3-0 run and ended with a team-high 15 points.

Adorador, for her part, connected on back-to-back kills to seal a second set for Chery Tiggo before they pulled away late behind a lean finishing kick.

With the win, the Crossovers ended a four-game skid and looked to carry their momentum in another must-in game against the Farm Fresh Foxies.
