The Choco Mucho Flying Titans end the preliminary round of the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference with a 10-game winning streak after making quick work of the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, 25-16, 25-19, 25-23, at the University of San Agustin Gymnasium in Iloilo City.

In front of 5,973 fans watching inside the gymnasium, Choco Mucho showed why they are indeed title contenders in this conference.

The Flying Titans seemingly had an answer for every run that the Crossovers threw at them throughout the match.

Deanna Wong had another excellent game for Choco Mucho as she finished with 24 excellent sets.

Like her teammates during their previous wins, Wong also pointed out the team’s success to coach Dante Alinsunurin’s system.

“Siyempre ‘yung sistema na binibigay ni coach Dante samin (nakatulong). Siyempre 'yung teamwork na natunanan namin during trainings, practices, dun talaga kami kumakapit,” Wong said during the post-game interview.

While they have secured the second seed, the Flying Titans can still grab the top spot depending on the Creamline Cool Smashers’ game against the Galeries Tower Highrisers on Tuesday.

But as early as now, Wong has already promised fans what they can expect from the team come the semifinals.

“Siyempre we’ll give our best, we’ll do our best. We won’t disappoint you ever again. Tingnan natin sa laban sa semis,” said Wong.

The Crossovers, meanwhile, finish the preliminary round with an 8-3 win-loss card. They will also await the result of the Cignal HD Spikers’ game versus the Gerflor Defenders, also on Tuesday.

The semifinals of the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference will begin on Thursday, December 7.
