For the first time ever, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans are headed to the finals in the PVL.
After overcoming the Cignal HD Spikers in three games in the semifinals, the Flying Titans will now face their biggest challenge yet in the Creamline Cool Smashers for a chance to make history.
While there will be many storylines for the best-of-three series, all eyes will be on the opposing setters: Deanna Wong and Kyle Negrito. Both have proven to be difference-makers for their respective squads in grabbing crucial victories.
The respect between the two players is there, with Wong having nothing but praise for her familiar foe.
“Siyempre si Kyle naman magaling na setter talaga siya. Hindi naman siguro aabot 'yung Creamline if it wasn't for her,” Wong said after their Game 3 win over the Cignal HD Spikers on Tuesday.
The former Ateneo Blue Eagle star added that facing Negrito will be an entirely different challenge in itself. But she pointed out that battling the former FEU Tamaraws standout is not new to her.
“Looking forward naman (ako sa laban namin). Hindi naman 'yun bago kasi nung UAAP rin nagkalaban rin kami, so it's gonna be an exciting challenge,” Wong added.

It seems like it was destiny for Wong and the Flying Titans to finally be in the finals.
Or maybe it was because of manifestation.
Fans took notice of how Wong mentioned seeing Choco Mucho supporters in the finals during their last game in the elimination round.
Advance mag-isip?
Maybe this time around, Wong can also manifest a championship for the Flying Titans—a feat that will definitely be remembered in PVL history, especially since they're up against the undefeated Cool Smashers.
