Myla Pablo is officially back with the Petro Gazz Angels.

The 30-year-old outside hitter is back with the ladies in red following the disbandment of the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.

Given her talent, it comes as no surprise that many PVL teams lined up to sign Pablo up.

But making the decision to return to Petro Gazz was an easy one, according to the former NU Lady Bulldogs star.

"First choice ko talaga Petro Gazz since nag-disband yung F2 [Logistics]. Yung Petro yung unang nag-message [sa 'kin]. I’m really thankful din naman talaga kasi grabe 'yung tiwala sakin ng Petro Gazz ulit,” Pablo told One Sports’ The Game on Wednesday.

What made it such an easy decision for Pablo? Simple, familiarity.

“Kaya pinili ko 'yung Petro Gazz talaga kasi familiar na sakin 'yung Petro Gazz eh. Alam ko na 'yung bawat galaw ng mga teammates ko, ugali ng mga teammates [ko],” said Pablo. “Two years din ako sa Petro Gazz, alam ko na din ugali ng mga management namin, mga boss namin.”

Pablo joined Petro Gazz in 2021 during the inaugural professional season of the PVL, helping the team bag the bronze medal.

Subsequently, Pablo guided the Angels to the Open Conference Finals in 2022, and later secured the Reinforced Conference championship that same year.

Joining Pablo are some of her former F2 Logistics teammates Mary Joy Dacoron and Ethan Arce as well as Michelle Morente from the PLDT High Speed Hitters.

With the departure of Grethcel Soltones from the squad, Pablo is expected to once again take the lead in scoring like she did in previous years.

The Timmy Sto. Tomas-led squad is also looking to climb back to the PVL mountaintop after finishing sixth in the Second All-Filipino Conference last season.
