The young Farm Fresh Foxies are making a statement. They are aiming for a PVL title.

After the Foxies finished 10th in the previous PVL Second All-Filipino Conference, the squad went on a recruitment spree with nine players

One of those sign-ups is former Choco Mucho Flying Titans opposite spiker Caitlin Viray.

“Well siguro, laking changes nga na nangyari from being one of the youngest sa team, ngayon isa na ako sa mga ate,” she told One Sports’ The Game.

“Medyo nakakapanibago ‘yun isa na ako sa mga matatanda, but I’m very excited nakikita ko sa team ‘yung energy nila pati ‘yung stamina nila - grabe, di sila napapagod sa training.”

Libero Julia Angeles is bringing floor defense after her stint with the Galeries Tower Highrisers, as an alternate to the more experienced Juliet Catindig.

“Before dun sa team na nanggaling ako, I was the young libero.

The Foxies are also going to have experienced players in former F2 Logistics Cargo Movers Elaine Kasilag and PLDT High Speed Hitters setter Anj Legacion.

Legacion, who stepped up as playmaker in PLDT’s last game, explained that she knows the healthy mix of veterans and young players will turn out to be beneficial in the long run.

And with intense training coming from Japanese trainer Master Shimizu, the ates will be learning something too.
