Dolly Verzosa looks forward to face these big-time stars in the PVL scene.
They may be the newest kids on the PVL block, but Strong Group Athletics skipper Dolly Verzosa is just grateful to be given a chance to play in the pro volleyball scene.
“Na-excite talaga ako [maglaro]. Kasi sobrang tagal kong di ‘naglaro and then biglang [may] PVL,” Verzosa told One Sports.
And with her entry to the PVL via Strong Group, the former Jose Rizal University star has two top targets as she finally gets a crack at the premier league.
Spoiler alert, they're from Creamline.
“Alyssa Valdez talaga, and Jema Galanza, kasi sila yung nasa peak ngayon,” Verzosa bared.
Among the other PVL teams, Verzosa mentioned the retooled Chery Tiggo Crossovers as the team she also looks forward to facing the most.

Currently the face of one of the newest PVL teams, Verzosa is grateful for the support she is getting from her family and friends in her home province of Leyte, adding she plays with no expectations yet in her pro volleyball career.
“Sabi ko naman kasi, maglalaro ako sa PVL kaya no expectations as long as maglalaro kami,” the SGA open hitter revealed.
However, it was a tough opening day outing for Versoza and her squad after suffering a three-set defeat against the Petro Gazz Angels last Thursday.

Coincidentally, Verzosa gets the first of her two wishes as Strong Group takes on Chery Tiggo next on Feb. 24, while the Creamline showdown is coming up on March 12.
