Royse Tubino gave credit to the Choco Mucho Flying Titans for their support, which she says contributed to her strong showings in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference semifinals.
Royse Tubino has proven to be an indispensable asset for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
With Kat Tolentino sidelined due to an auditory condition, Tubino has risen to the challenge, stepping up to fill the void and helping the Flying Titans move on the cusp of a return trip to the finals.

In the semifinals so far, the ever-reliable veteran came through with 20 points and 12 excellent digs in the historic victory over the Creamline Cool Smashers last Tuesday, April 30. She then followed it up with a 17-point outing in a straight-set win over the Chery Tiggo Crossovers two days later.
Despite her noteworthy efforts, Tubino deflected the credit to her teammates and coaches for their unwavering support.
“Sobrang happy ako kasi lalo na sa coaching staff, sa teammates ko kasi laging andiyan sila to support me, to guide me. Kahit veteran ako, kailangan ko pa rin ng guidance lalo na sa coaches. Ayon, 'yun ang naka-mindset sa 'kin,” Tubino said.
“Siguro naman 'yung bawat effort ng mga teammates ko lalo ng mga coaches talagang trinatrabaho talaga namin. Kaya itong win namin sa Creamline tsaka sa Chery Tiggo, deserve namin kasi pinagtatrabahuhan talaga namin.”

Holding a 2-0 record in the round-robin playoffs, the Flying Titans are just one win away from securing a spot in the championship round. Standing in their way are the Petro Gazz Angels on May 5, Sunday.
Tubino and the rest of the Choco Mucho crew are concentrating on the challenge ahead, determined to maintain their aggressive approach and not let their guard down.
“'Pag sa Petro Gazz, siguro may two days na training kami so kailangan pa naming [maging] more aggressive,” Tubino said.
