Ivy Lacsina will begin a new journey once more in the upcoming 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference.

After playing just one conference with the Nxled Chameleons, Lacsina is now set to play for the loaded Akari Chargers, who are out to secure a semifinal slot in the upcoming conference.

In addition to Lacsina, former Nxled players Dani Ravena, Kamille Cal, and Camille Victoria likewise moved to Akari in the break following the All-Filipino Conference. The Chargers are also now led by coach Taka Minowa.

The 24-year-old spiker admitted having mixed feelings about her transfer from Nxled, which, for her, has become her second home.

Despite already joining her third team in her young career, Lacsina said that adjusting with the Chargers has been smooth sailing so far.

As she begins her new journey with Akari, Lacsina will also be reunited with her former high school teammate at the Nazareth School of National University, Faith Nisperos.

"Super excited kasi matagal na panahon na din nung nakasama ko si Faith and then si Kal, sa Nxled nakasama ko siya ng one conference, so feeling ko mas magiging masaya kasi magkakasama kami. 'Yung connection namin nung NU, matatrabaho namin 'yun and mababalik," said Lacsina.

The towering outside hitter has been ramping up her preparations for the Reinforced Conference, which begins on July 16. But for now, Lacsina is not setting any expectations just yet in her first conference for Akari.
