The Akari Chargers remain undefeated in Pool B by pulling off a dramatic reverse sweep against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference.
Despite a sluggish start and losing the first two sets, Akari found their rhythm, led by American import Oly Okaro’s impressive 38-point performance, to win 18-25, 16-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-13.
Choco Mucho, starting the conference with a 0-2 record for the first time, couldn't hold their early advantage as they were forced into errors by Akari's offense.
Akari will next face the Petro Gazz Angels on July 27.
