MJ Perez and the Cignal HD Spikers roll to start the 2024 PVL Invitational Conference.
Cignal might be gearing up for another podium run.
The HD Spikers made it back-to-back wins in the 2024 PVL Invitational Conference, stopping Thailand’s EST Cola in straight sets Sunday at the MOA Arena, 25-23, 27-25, 25-12.
Cignal was made to work by the youthful Thais in the first two sets but then delivered a decisive finish in the third, improving to 2-0 in the short finale of the 2024 PVL season.
MJ Perez was sensational per usual for the HD Spikers, firing 28 points on 23 attacks and five blocks. Ces Molina added 12 as Cignal finished the match in under 90 minutes.
Warisara Seetaloed was the lone double-digit scorer for EST Cola with 17 points in the loss.
