Dell Palomata is back in action for the PLDT High Speed Hitters in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference, following her stint with Alas Pilipinas.

Palomata gained valuable experience and knowledge from Alas Women after competing in several international tournaments, which included a bronze medal finish in the 2024 AVC Challenge Cup for Women and both legs of the 2024 SEA V.League.

Two games into the new PVL season, Palomata contributed 10 points in the High Speed Hitters' opening victory over the Nxled Chameleons.

The 6-foot-3 middle blocker then had five markers in the sweep of the Galeries Tower Highrisers.

Now back with PLDT, Palomata admitted having to adjust herself back into coach Rald Ricafort’s system.

“Nung nakabalik na ako sa team ko, sa mother team ko, is nagpuspusan talaga sa training,” Palomata said during the post-game press conference after the win over Galeries Tower.

Nearing their full strength, the High Speed Hitters are looking to make their first-ever Finals appearance and possibly even bring home a title in the extended All-Filipino Conference.

Palomata, who is expected to be a key piece in PLDT’s title hopes, looks to also bring in the maturity she learned from her Alas stint.

PLDT will go for its third straight win next Tuesday, Nov. 23 against the Capital1 Solar Spikers at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
