The Chery Tiggo Crossovers are back in the win column after taking down the Farm Fresh Foxes in four sets in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Chery Tiggo found its finishing touch after ramming past Farm Fresh in four sets, 21-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-20, in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Saturday, Jan. 25.
The Crossovers bucked a first-set loss to secure a bounce-back win to improve to a 5-3 record for. Meanwhile, the Foxies, who are coming off a win last time out, couldn't sustain their effort and dropped to a 3-4 mark.
With momentum on their side, Chery Tiggo distanced themselves early on from Farm Fresh in the fourth set behind a balanced outing from Cza Carandang, Shaya Adorador, Ces Robles, and Ara Galang.
Farm Fresh, led by Jolina Dela Cruz, mounted a mini-comeback after cutting a six-point deficit to just two points at 14-16.
But in the end, the Crossovers proved to be too much as setter Joyme Cagande sealed the win with a service ace.
Galang powered Chery Tiggo with 20 points built on 15 attacks, four blocks, and one service ace.
The Crossovers will go for a second-straight win as they battle the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles on Thursday, Jan. 30.
