The Nxled Chameleons hope to build on their recent strong showing, as they gun for win number two in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference against the streaking Petro Gazz Angels.
The Nxled Chameleons will have one last go for their second win in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference as they challenge the red-hot Petro Gazz Angels at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Thursday, February 20.
Since bagging their first win in the conference, the Chameleons have looked like a much different team.
Nxled is coming off a five-set thriller against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, nearly pulling out the victory behind the efforts of EJ Laure and Lucille Almonte.
Almonte has been having a much better season compared to her first conference as a professional, now under Italian coach Ettore Guidetti.

With their new-found confidence, the Chameleons look to pull off the upset against the Angels.
Chiara Permentilla, who has been the team’s go-to scorer in the extended conference, will also look to deliver a better outing to help the Chameleons snatch their second win.
Permentilla is sixth among Best Scorers with 148 points and eighth among Best Receivers with a 22.86% efficiency rate.

A victory for Nxled could push them to the 10th spot, avoiding facing Petro Gazz or the Creamline Cool Smashers in the qualifying round.
The match between the Chameleons and Angels is set at 6:30 p.m.
