It’s official.
Erica Staunton will make her way back to the Creamline Cool Smashers for the upcoming AVC Women’s Champions League, the team announced on Thursday, April 3.
“Welcome back Erica, sobrang saya at super excited na kaming makita ka ulit sa court with the Creamline Cool Smashers,” the team wrote in its post.
Staunton, who last played for Jakarta Pertamina Enduro in Indonesia, is set to reinforce the grand slam champions in the international tournament. Creamline has the option to add two more imports to strengthen their roster.
The Cool Smashers are grouped in Pool A, where they will compete against Zhetysu of Kazakhstan and Al Naser Jordan. Meanwhile, fellow PVL squads Petro Gazz Angels and PLDT High Speed Hitters are in Pools B and D, respectively.
Staunton previously shined in the 2024 PVL Invitational Conference, where she was named Best Outside Hitter and led Creamline to the historic grand slam.
Now, the 24-year-old American spiker ready to make an impact once again as Creamline takes on Asia’s best.
