The Creamline Cool Smashers aim to continue their reign of dominance as they battle the Petro Gazz Angels in Game 1 of the 2024-2025 PVL All-Filipino Conference Finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao on Tuesday, April 8.

With four straight All-Filipino titles under their belt, the Cool Smashers are gunning for a historic five-peat and an 11th overall PVL championship—a mark unmatched in league history.

Despite their strong track record, Creamline is entering the Finals on the back of a stunning loss to Petro Gazz in the semifinals of the round-robin tournament, where the Angels made a statement by downing the reigning champions in four sets.

Still, Creamline enters the best-of-three series with a 26-8 all-time edge over Petro Gazz since 2018, and their consistency remains their biggest weapon.

With Tots Carlos and Bernadeth Pons firing on all cylinders, and Alyssa Valdez, Pangs Panaga, and Bea de Leon anchoring the court, Creamline looks as sharp and composed as ever.

Jema Galanza, who has been dealing with a thumb injury, is also expected to have a bigger role in the Finals after playing limited minutes in the semifinals.
