What’s a birthday without a surprise?
Fifi Sharma of the De La Salle University Lady Spikers recently celebrated her 22nd birthday with some of her favorite people—these, however, might not be the people you are thinking.
In her Instagram story, Sharma posted a video of her being surprised by kids who live near La Salle's training ground in Taft Avenue, Manila.
The DLSU middle blocker, who was accompanied by Jolina dela Cruz, received handcrafted paper flowers from the kids while they greeted her a loud happy birthday.
Sharma described it as her "most special birthday yet."
"My favorite people on the planet. Thank you, guys, for making me the happiest person to ever exist," Sharma said on her Instagram story.
It’ll be a short birthday celebration for Sharma and the Lady Spikers as they prepare for their final game in the elimination round as they take on the University of the East Red Warriors at the FilOil EcoOil Center on Saturday.
