Wello Lingolingo's buzzer beater lifted the UE Red Warriors against the Adamson Falcons to extend their win streak to find and land solo third place in UAAP Season 87.
It was Wello Lingolingo to the rescue for the UE Red Warriors as they escape the Adamson Soaring Falcons, 63-62, to end their first round campaign in UAAP Season 87.
Down by one, Lingolingo picked up the miss by Nico Mulingtapang and threw a Jordan-esque shot to seal the game at the buzzer.
Despite his late game heroics, Lingolingo downplays the game-winning shot and credits Coach Jack Santiago in fueling the Warriors' no-quit mentality.
"Yung sinasabi nga ni Coach Jack, huwag mo hanapin yung laro. Hayaan mong pupunta sa'yo yung laro," he said.
