When it comes to pure volleyball prowess, Jade Disquitado looks up to the legendary Brazilian volleyball player Darlan Souza.
“Cool siya [Darlan Souza] tignan sa loob ng court,” Jade said, captivated by Darlan's cool demeanor.

In a clash of titans, veteran Dutch volleyball sensation Nimir Abdel-Aziz has passed the ultimate test set by Alas Pilipinas’ Dawn Macandili-Catindig, who can’t help but be in awe of his serving prowess.
“Ina-idolize ko now si Nimir [Abdel-Aziz] kasi first time kong manood ng VNL Men’s sa Netherlands. Sobrang na-amaze ako kasi sobrang galing niya mag-serve. As a player, ang galing niyang maglaro,” said Dawn.
From Fanboy to Future Opponent: Buds and Yuki’s Showdown Awaits
Buds Buddin is on a mission, idolizing the legendary Japanese volleyball star Yuki Ishikawa as he strives to become an all-around player himself. This passionate fanboy dreams of sharing the court with his hero one day.
“Sobrang galing niya [Yuki Ishikawa] po kasing maglaro, and napakagaling sa receiving service, attacking, blocking—lahat talaga,” Buds shared, his admiration palpable.
“Sobrang ina-idolize ko siya, and sana someday, makalaro ko siya,” he declared, fueled by the hope of teaming up with Ishikawa in the future.
Timeless Legends: Noel Kampton and His Hero, Taylor Sander
Noel Kampton draws inspiration from the legendary American volleyball warrior, Taylor Sander, embodying a classic spirit in the game.
“Sobrang old school ako sa volleyball, like ‘yong idol ko. Wala na siya sa indoor volleyball ngayon, si Taylor Sander,” he said, honoring the enduring legacy of a true champion.
