Fresh off an electrifying opening-day victory, the Adamson Lady Falcons seek to build on their strong start when they take on the DLSU Lady Spikers this Saturday, February 22, at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

Adamson’s debut was nothing short of spectacular, as rookie sensation Shaina Nitura erupted for 33 points to lead her team past Ateneo.

Now riding that wave of confidence, the Lady Falcons will look to take down another powerhouse in La Salle.

Nitura’s showdown with former Rookie MVP Angel Canino promises to be a must-watch battle of firepower. Nitura will also have help from fellow rookie Frances Mordi, who had 23 points against Ateneo.

On the other side, the Lady Spikers are reeling from a rare straight-set defeat at the hands of NU.

With head coach Ramil de Jesus demanding a response, La Salle will be out for redemption—making them a dangerous opponent for Adamson.

With a chance to go 2-0 against one of the league’s traditional giants, Adamson will need to prove that their opening win was no fluke.

Can the Lady Falcons soar once more, or will La Salle’s championship pedigree shine through?
