It's an 11-man squad for Gilas Pilipinas, with Japeth Aguilar taking the place of June Mar Fajardo and AJ Edu.
Japeth Aguilar is officially back for Gilas Pilipinas duty.
The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel big man, who last stood as captain for Gilas Pilipinas in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, will be suiting up for the national team again.
He was listed in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers website as part of an 11-man lineup in the first window against Hong Kong and Chinese Taipei.
AJ Edu, who attended the Gilas Pilipinas training camp, is still recovering from injuries.
So is June Mar Fajardo, who was asked to rest for two weeks, after suffering a left calf injury during the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals.

The 7-foot-2 Kai Sotto is the only center listed on the roster. Meanwhile,Aguilar and Justin Brownlee are listed as power forwards. Carl Tamayo, Kevin Quiambao, and Calvin Oftana will also serve as wings.
It's not too much of a stretch, as Gilas veteran Aguilar is already familiar with coach Tim's system. He was also present in Day 1 of the national team's practice at the Inspire Sports Academy.

Gilas Pilipinas will take on Hong Kong on February 22, 8 p.m.
The Philippine national basketball team will then go back home to welcome Chinese Taipei on Sunday, February 25, at the Philsports Arena at 7:30 p.m.
