After all, what's not to love?
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Angela Beard in action for the Philippine women’s football team. Beard, who has been busy with her club in Sweden, missed out on the Filipinas’ historic Asian Games campaign.
Fortunately, she's among the members of the Filipinas pool gearing up for the second round of the AFC Olympic Qualifying Tournament (OQT) in her birth country of Australia, which will start this Thursday.
While the 26-year-old Beard is usually seen as a serious and competitive player on the pitch, she has a cute and bubbly attitude outside of it.
Case in point: Her recent Instagram Stories.
She posted a behind-the-scene moment while filming a Christmas-themed video for the Filipinas.

The talented defender was caught shouting at her teammate Meryll Serrano, who made dog noises during the recording.
“Meryll! I’m doing Christmas!” Beard said with a laugh.
Once she returned to the front of the camera, Beard also laughingly asked if she was caught on video shouting at Serrano.
It’s moments like this that fans don’t usually see from the Filipinas—and it just makes their adorable personalities more known to the public.
But come Thursday, it’s all business for Beard and the Filipinas as they open their OQT second round campaign against Chinese Taipei.
As of writing, the final lineup of the Filipinas hasn't been released.
