Third wheeling?: Dwight Ramos, Kim Kianna Dy meet up with very familiar face

With the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers having an early vacation in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference, Kim Kianna Dy did the most logical thing: Visit her boyfriend anew in Japan.

Dy and Dwight Ramos were reunited once again, just in time for the star hooper's game for Levanga Hokkaido in the Japan B.League. Dy has become a familiar face in Ramos' games, even young Japanese fans of Levanga know her already.

But last Saturday, Dy and Ramos both saw a familiar face, as Levanga battled San-en NeoPhoenix. Of course, it's none other than Thirdy Ravena.

As fellow Asian imports for opposing teams, Ramos and Ravena will always compete against each other like bitter rivals. But outside the court, the competitive mode automatically switches off. Just like that, they’re back to being Gilas Pilipinas brothers.

The matchup between Ramos and Ravena would’ve been fire, as both cagers possess elite athleticism and a well-rounded skill set. But unfortunately, it was only Ravena who was able to suit up. Ramos sat out due to a still unknown reason, as of writing.

With him contributing 11 points and four rebounds, San-en defeated Levanga, 87-73, to improve to a 13-2 record. The team is currently tied with the Kawasaki Brave Thunders for first place in the Central Conference. Thirdy also continues to be on fire with his OOTDs.

The picture of Ramos, Dy, and Ravena was quite special because of two things. One, it featured two guys who represent the Philippines on the international stage exceptionally well. Second, it showed that Ramos and KKD are still very much together. Their relationship is going strongthe exact opposite of KathNiel.

At the moment, Ramos is averaging norms 9.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists for Levanga, while Ravena is putting up 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds for San-en.

As for Dy, she is still recovering from a knee injury that forced her to miss the entire campaign of F2 Logistics in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference.

But hey, she’s in Japan with her beau. Maybe going on ramen and sushi dates can help her recuperate faster.
