The Team Papaya support is strong for Bianca Bustamante as she starts a new F1 Academy season as a McLaren driver racing under ART Grand Prix.
Bianca Bustamante’s second F1 Academy season is underway in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and the Filipina racer has some high-profile supporters as she takes on the track once again.
McLaren F1 is all in on Bianca, as this is her first season under the development programme of the iconic Formula 1 team.
To commemorate the start of the new F1 Academy season, the team shared a photo of Bustamante with McLaren’s F1 star, Lando Norris.
For Jeddah, Bianca will start Race 1 of the new season fifth on the grid, after clocking in with a time of 2:04.937 in the first qualifying session.
Bustamante will then start 10th in Race 2 after finishing with a time of 2:05.619. Prema Racing’s Doriane Pin will start with a double pole in Jeddah.
Bianca is racing under ART Grand Prix this season. She finished 7th in the standings last year for the inaugural F1 Academy season.
