Kai Sotto has scored double digits in seven straight games for the Yokohama B-Corsairs in the B.League, a personal best for the 7'3" Filipino center.
Yokohama’s slim B.League playoff hopes take a hit, but Kai Sotto’s resurgence is still a go.
The B-Corsairs’ three-game winning streak came to an end Saturday, absorbing a disappointing 90-76 loss to Nagasaki Velca.
Yokohama had a strong start, but a 34-10 second quarter doomed the team as the Velca took over and consistently kept the B-Corsairs at bay until the final buzzer.
Nevertheless, Kai Sotto’s strong play continued, scoring 17 points on 7/12 shooting in 29 minutes.
Kai’s 17 points mark his seventh-straight game in double figures, which extends his personal career-best.

Unfortunately for Sotto, his double-double streak also stopped at three games as he only grabbed six rebounds in the loss, his worst rebounding game since February 4.
