Add Justin Gutang to a growing list of Filipino Asian imports in the search of new homes.

Gutang formally announced on social media that he is leaving the Changwon LG Sakers in the Korean Basketball League after two seasons.

Earlier, the Sakers officially announced that they are releasing the 26-year-old guard.

The former CSB Blazer expressed his gratitude to the LG Sakers, who was the the first overseas team the 6-foot-4 winger played for following stints in MPBL and Filbasket.

"Words can’t describe the mixed emotions that I have been feeling. Knowing that it could be the last time we all play together. All I can say is LG made me the player that I am today. I have neither hate nor regrets toward their decision. I have nothing but LOVE for each and every single person from the organization,” the post wrote.

“It’s been a hell of a two years and I am so thankful to God for leading me here. To all the fans who have showered me with so much love and support, I ask that you show the same amount of love and more to the next Filipino Import after me. I will always and forever be LG 💛???? 𝟏𝟖 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟 ?🏼.”

The Asian import averaged 8.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 58 games this season, helping the Sakers to a 36-18 win-loss record and a playoff berth in the KBL.

However, as one leaves, another one turns up. Carl Tamayo replaced Gutang as their Pinoy Asian import, securing the commitment of the former Ryukyu Golden King and B1 champion.
