The 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments are down to the final eight squads, with four spots up for grabs for the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

While Gilas Pilipinas may already be out of contention, several must-watch teams are still in contention for the Olympics in Paris.

Find out how the semifinal games went.

Latvia-Brazil Finals

After Brazil’s victory over Gilas Pilipinas, it was the turn of host nation Latvia to advance to the Finals in Riga.

Latvia and Cameroon went at it in the first 25 minutes of the match, but in a critical moment, the world no. 6 turned to their most capable player for a solution.

The Cameroonians made the error of leaving Davis Bertans open on the perimeter, and he capitalized on the opportunity.

With the net swishing and the crowd cheering, Bertans established a crucial lead for Latvia. From that point on, Latvia maintained its advantage and kept Cameroon at bay.

Rihards Lomazs led the way for Latvia with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Bahamas-Spain Finals

The Bahamas are on the brink of making history by securing an Olympic spot after reaching the final of the FIBA OQT 2024 in Spain.

Led by Portland Trail Blazers big man Deandre Ayton, the Bahamians set the pace with a dominant first quarter in an 89-72 win over Lebanon.

Ayton quickly established his presence, scoring 10 points in the opening period before ultimately leading his team with 24 points and 15 rebounds.

Buddy Hield also contributed significantly, recording a double-double with 19 points and 10 assists.

For a shot at the Olympics, the Bahamas will have to overcome powerhouse Spain in the Finals.

Greece-Croatia Finals

The highly-anticipated showdown between Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the FIBA OQT turned into a one-sided affair as Greece cruised to a 96-68 win over Slovenia.

Greece took an early lead, ending the first quarter 32-14, and maintained control throughout the game. Giannis Antetokounmpo contributed 13 points, and Thomas Walkup led the Hellas with 19 points.

Luka Doncic led Slovenia with 21 points but struggled with 10 turnovers, resulting in Slovenia missing the Olympics.

In the other semifinal, Croatia narrowly defeated the Dominican Republic 80-77. Ivica Zubac's perfect shooting performance of 25 points and clutch free throws from Mario Hezonja paved the way for the big victory.

Croatia and Greece will go head-to-head in the final for a spot in Paris 2024.

Lithuania-Puerto Rico Finals

The final Paris 2024 slot will be contested by Lithuania and Puerto Rico, with Jose Alvarado and his crew hosting Domantas Sabonis' squad in San Juan.

Puerto Rico eased past Mexico behind 24 points from Tremont Waters, while Lithuania got 23 points from Marius Grigonis in an overwhelming victory over Italy.
