Lyceum’s JM Bravo has regained consciousness, hours after a scary episode in the NCAA Season 100 Saturday, October 19.

Bravo passed out on the court late in the fourth quarter of Lyceum’s NCAA game against the Arellano Chiefs Saturday, which the Pirates ended up losing, 86-91.

He was stretchered off the court and was immediately brought to the hospital.

In the initial report by NCAA broadcast partner GMA Sports, Bravo was originally ruled out for the season due to a spine injury suffered during pre-season. He was later cleared and returned to the Lyceum lineup for round 2 of the NCAA season.

After being rushed to the hospital, Bravo is now conscious and was able to speak with Pirates coach Gilber Malabanan, as well as NCAA management committee chairman Hercules Callanta.

In an update by the NCAA, Bravo will be placed under concussion protocol after undergoing CT scan at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center.
