The Cignal HD Spikers will face tough competition in the 2025 AVC Men’s Champions League as they battle Japan’s Osaka Bluteon and China’s Shanghai Bright in Pool B from May 11 to 18 in Japan.
The Cignal HD Spikers are gearing up for a challenging campaign in the 2025 AVC Men’s Champions League, where they have been drawn into Pool B alongside Japan’s Osaka Bluteon and China’s Shanghai Bright Volleyball Club.
The tournament is set to take place from May 11 to 18 in Japan.
As the Philippines’ lone representative in the prestigious continental event, Cignal, champions of the 2024 Spikers’ Turf Open and Reinforced Conferences, will face two of Asia’s powerhouse teams.
Osaka Bluteon, featuring Japanese volleyball superstars Yuji Nishida and Tomohiro Yamamoto, will provide a stern test for the HD Spikers.

Meanwhile, Shanghai Bright boasts a roster of experienced players from China’s professional volleyball league, making them another formidable opponent.
With their eyes set on making a deep run, the HD Spikers will rely on their battle-tested core, led by Louie Ramirez, Owa Retamar, Jau Umandal, and Wendell Miguel, to compete against some of the region’s best.
