Gymnast Aleah Finnegan proves she
2021 SEA Games

Aleah Finnegan, gold medalist for the Philippines in the 2021 Southeast Asian Games, rules at the vault.

She showed it in Vietnam, picking up the top prize for vault as well as the team event in Hanoi. She showed it once again for her college, the Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers in the NCAA this weekend.

In the showdown against number 5 Auburn, Finnegan showed why she was queen of the vault.

They even got her a crown before her score showed a perfect 10. Check out her reaction here.

The sophomore proved she was no rookie in other events as well, scoring 9.975 in the floor exercise.

Finnegan delivered 9.875 on the bars, but picked herself back up with 9.950 on the beam.

Unfortunately, the team effort was not enough for the ninth-ranked LSU as they fell by 2.50 points against Auburn in this particular meet.

While this is still a good score for LSU on the road to the Nationals, the Philippines will only be sighing in disappointment.

Women's gymnastics will not be featured in the Southeast Asian Games later this year, as Cambodia scrapped the event despite pleas from fellow countries.
