Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is making plenty of buzz after his gold medal run in the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

After a historic Team USA stint that saw the four-time NBA champion claim his first-ever Olympic gold in Paris 2024, Curry is once again in the center of basketball talk with a very simple tweak to his social media account. Curry removed any mention of the Warriors in his Instagram bio.

The 36-year-old's bio now reads "Believer. Father. Husband. Founder. Philanthropist. And...Olympic Gold Medalist. Philippians 4:13', with "Olympic Gold Medalist" replacing "Guard for the @Warriors."

It should be noted, however, that the two-time MVP’s official Twitter account still includes his affiliation with the Warriors, but his Instagram seems to be focused entirely on his Olympic run.

This sent NBA fan talk ablaze with speculations.

"He’s definitely leaving," @aCNZ0 said.

"OMG, he's gone," @GSWarriorsHouse wrote.

"Steph Curry has been hanging around LeBron this summer and changed his IG bio!! Trade request incoming?????" @vanman_1000 said.

Others went as far as posting that Curry's update could mean the sweet shooter would want to join his Team USA teammates LeBron James and Anthony Davis in the Los Angeles Lakers.

"He’s going to the Lakers to team up with Bron and AD," @StephMuse_ said.

"Lord have mercy. He’s gonna team up with LeBron, isn’t he?" @30problemz wrote.

Speaking of James, the four-time NBA champion and now two-time Olympic gold medalist changed his Instagram profile picture to that of himself, Curry, and Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant during their successful run in Paris 2024.

The King and Chef Curry even added fuel to the fire by sharing a collaborative post in celebration of their gold medal win with Durant also in the image.

It is likely that Curry is just simply highlighting a career achievement. Why wouldn't be proud to be part of a star-studded Team USA squad alongside James, Durant, and Davis to give the Americans their fifth-straight gold in the men's 5-on-5 basketball tournament.?

Is it a sign of changing tides in the NBA? Maybe Chef Curry is just cooking and messing around.
