'Hindi po ligang labas': Beau Belga enjoys food trip, 'papawis' in Lucban

PBA

Beau Belga made it clear this time that he did not play in an unsanctioned tournament on his recent trip to Lucban, Quezon.

The Rain or Shine forward shared on Instagram a series of pictures of him posing with players inside a court and at a local restaurant.

He thanked the warm welcome of teammate Andrei Caracut and his family.

"Salamat sa CARACUT family sa pagbubusog sa akin kahapon. Papawis lang ang hanap ko pero sinama na nila ang pabusog din," Belga said.

He then proceeded to give his gratitude to the hoopers he played with, while also clarifying that their game is not a ligang labas.

"Salamat din sa mga tropang LUCBAN sa papawis. Hindi po 'yan ligang labas papawis lang.

It can be recalled that Belga got in trouble last April when he and former teammate JR Quiñahan got caught in a brawl during a basketball game in Cebu. Big Beau was slapped with a hefty fine after playing in an unsanctioned exhibition game.

Belga has since stayed out of trouble, putting in the work during the offseason. He averaged 7.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.5 assists as the Elasto Painters finished second in the standings of the recently concluded PBA On Tour.
