The Akari Chargers look to start strong in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference semifinals as they face the Choco Mucho Flying Titans at the Ynares Center Antipolo on Saturday, March 29.

The Chargers had to overcome the gritty Galeries Tower Highrisers in the quarterfinals, winning Games 1 and 2 in tough five-setters.

Now, Akari faces an even tougher task in the round-robin semifinals, hoping to prove themselves among the traditional title contenders.

Ivy Lacsina is expected to lead the charge for the Taka Minowa-mentored squad, alongside Grethcel Soltones, Eli Soyud, and Faith Nisperos.

Soyud and Nisperos were big for the Chargers in Game 2 of the quarterfinals as they combined for 35 points against the Highrisers.
