Beermen aim to move closer to a 29th PBA title.
At the rate things are going, it looks like San Miguel is on course to etch history in the ongoing PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals.
The Beermen simply dominated Magnolia in the first two games of the best-of-seven series, and it seems there is no intention on their part to slow down.
Riding the crest of an 11-game run dating back to the eliminations, San Miguel could pull off a sweep, pushing itself on the verge of a record-extending 29th title in the league.
SMB coach Jorge Gallent, though, would rather focus on Game Three later today at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Game time is at 7:30 p.m.
“The sweep is not even in our minds,” said Gallent after his wards' 103-85 romp in Game Two last Sunday.
It is only prudent not to look ahead.
After all, Magnolia is raring to bounce back on the heels of two straight heartbreaks and a post-game scuffle involving Calvin Abueva and Mo Tautuaa’s wife Aida the last time out.

But both parties are ready to move on from this and put on a show in Wednesday’s pivotal match.
Fans at home could catch Game Three on RPTV, A2Z, PBA Rush and the Pilipinas Live app.
