Ginebra wriggled out of a tight first half to secure win No. 7 against also-ran Converge in the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup on Saturday, April 27.
Christian Standhardinger flirted with a triple-double to lift Ginebra past also-ran Converge, 105-93, and strengthen its hold of the second spot in the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup at the Aquilino Pimentel Jr. International Convention Center in Cagayan de Oro on Saturday, April 27.
Standhardinger scattered 33 points on 15-for-23 shooting he complemented with 12 rebounds and nine assists to rally the Gin Kings to their fourth straight win for a 7-3 card behind pacesetting San Miguel (8-0).

With the count knotted at 48 at the turn, Ginebra slowly pulled away behind a 35-point effort in the third on its way to building leads of as many as 21 points.
The FiberXers, eager to chalk up another win in their tally following a breakthrough against Meralco last Sunday, April 21, tried to put up a fight until the end before falling to their ninth loss.
Standhardinger also had two steals and the same number of blocks in an all-around performance for the Gin Kings.
Veterans Maverick Ahanmisi (17 points and seven assists), Japeth Aguilar (12 points) Scottie Thompson (10 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists) and Nards Pinto (10 points) answered the call for Ginebra while rookie Ralph Cu (13 points) continued to deliver the numbers.
David Murrell debuted with three points and two rebounds for Ginebra in nearly five minutes of play.

Alec Stockton came through with 32 points, six rebounds and six assists in an effort that went down the drain for Converge.
Justin Arana added 18 while Aljun Melecio added 10.
