Choco Mucho superstar Sisi Rondina experienced the electrifying atmosphere of the PBA Finals firsthand as she watched Game 6 of the Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup between Barangay Ginebra and TNT at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday, March 26.

A self-confessed Ginebra fan, Rondina was in awe of the intensity of the match and the passionate PBA crowd.

"Grabe, grabe 'yung supporters ng PBA. Sobrang saya and ang intense ng laban," Rondina said.

"Ako, Ginebra talaga ako kasi idol ko sila kuya Scottie, sila Brownlee. Marami rin akong kilala sa Ginebra, and sila din 'yung [same company] dati sa Petron [Blaze Spikers]."

Seeing the energy inside the 17,654-strong crowd at the Big Dome seemingly left a lasting impression on Rondina.

"Sobrang iba siya sa volleyball, like as in ang intense. Kada segundo, alam mong may hihiyaw talaga. Sana ganito rin karami 'yung manonood. Although marami naman talaga sa amin, pero itong ganito karami, madadagdagan pa,” said Rondina.

The Flying Titans, under coach Dante Alinsunurin, who was also in the stands to support Ginebra, have embraced Ginebra’s ‘Never-Say-Die’ spirit in the PVL.

Unfortunately for Rondina, the Gin Kings failed to close out the series as the Tropang Giga forced a winner-take-all Game 7.

Still, Brownlee took notice of Rondina’s presence, expressing high praise once more for the multi-talented athlete.

Interestingly, Ginebra’s resident import himself was seen courtside at one of Rondina’s games in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference in March last year, when Choco Mucho faced Cignal.

"That's pretty dope. That's pretty cool to see her in the stands, coming to support Ginebra and the team. She's a phenomenal athlete, and what she's done in volleyball here in the Philippines has been very special," said Brownlee.

"I've been keeping track with her since her college days, and she's just a phenomenal athlete and an incredible volleyball player."
